Cómo decir la hora en inglés

What time is it? ¿Qué hora es?
What's the time?
Have you got the time?

12:00 midday -> mediodía
24:00 midnight -> medianoche

o'clock -> en punto
a quarter past -> y cuarto
half past -> y media
a quarter to -> menos cuarto
Ejemplos:
6:00 -> six o'clock (in the morning)
23:15 -> quarter past twelve (at night)
20:00 -> eight o clock
16:30 -> half past four

Se usa "past" cuando es hasta 30 minutos, y "to" a partir de 30 minutos.como decir la hora en ingles

Por ejemplo:
Son las 4:20 -> it's twenty past four
Son las 7:55 -> it's five to eight

Tiempos verbales: la pasiva

Present simple -> am/are/is + participio
Ejemplo: English is spoken here

Past simple -> was/were + participio
Ejemplo: Spanish was spoken here

Present continuous -> am/are/is being + participio
Ejemplo: Her request is being processed

Past continuous -> was/were been + participio
Ejemplo: Her request was been precessed

Present perfect -> have/has been + participio
Ejemplo: The watch has been stolen

Past perfect -> had been + participio
Ejemplo: The watch had been stolen

Future (will) -> will be + participio
Ejemplo: The room will be painted by next Sunday

Future (going to) -> am/are/is going to be + participio
Ejemplo: Biology is going to be studied by Paul

Tiempos verbales: Presente perfecto (Present perfect)

Cuándo se usa:

- Algo que empezó en el pasado y continua en el presente.
- Algo que empezó y aún tiene conexión con el presente.
- Para conectar el pasado con el presente.
- Se suelen usar con: just, already, yet, lately, today,...

Estructura: Sujeto + have/has + participio (-ed o verbo irregular) + ...
                    Sujeto + haven't/hasn't + participio + ...
                    Have/Has + sujeto + participio + ...

Ejemplos: 
-  I have bought a new T-shirt -> He comprado una nueva camiseta
- You haven't studied French -> No has estudiado francés
- I have lived in this city since 1989 -> he vivido en esta ciudad desde 1989
- You have lived in this city for 4 years -> Has vivido en esta ciudad por 4 años

Tiempos verbales: Pasado continuo (Past continuous)

Cuándo se usa:
- Actividades que se estaban desarrollando en el pasado.
  Por ejemplo: Estábamos viendo una película cuando dos personas gritaron ->We were watching a film         when two persons screamed.
- Actividades en las que no estamos interesados en cuando se inició o no sabemos si se ha terminado o no.
- Usamos el past simple+past continuous cuando una acción se estaba desarrollando (p.continuous) y se produce un hecho(p.simple), el ejemplo típico: estaba viendo la televisión cuando sonó el teléfono -> i was watching television when the phone rang

* Who?: ¿Quién?
       -> Who is missing? (¿Quíen falta?)
* Whose?: ¿De quién?
       -> Whose pencil is it? (¿De quién es el lápiz?)
* Whom?: ¿A quién?
       -> Whom could we answer? (¿A quién podemos responder?)
* What?: ¿Qué?
       -> What do you need? (¿Qué necesitas?)
* When?: ¿Cuándo?
       -> When arrives your train? (¿Cuándo llega tu tren?)
* Where?: ¿Dónde?
       -> Where are you from? (¿De dónde eres?)
* Why?: ¿Por qué?
       ->Why not? (¿Por qué no?)
* Which?: ¿Cuál?

Básico: Gramática: Sustantivos en minúscula o mayúscula

Van en mayúsculas: 
- Days of the week (días de la semana): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Months (meses): January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
- Names (nombres): tanto nombres de personas, animales, etc.como de monumentos, calles, etc.
